About yours truly
I am a freelance/contract sound designer & recordist with extensive experience in games development, a background in music and credits on AAA and smaller titles alike.
Currently I’m contracting for Sumo Digital, working on Dead Island 2 (PC/PS4/Xbox1). My most recent contract before that was at Sony Interactive Entertainment London Studio helping out with the sound design for PSVR launch title Playstation VR Worlds.
As Audio Lead at Mind Candy (2011-2015), I have been responsible for the sound of mobile game World of Warriors (App Store Global Editor’s Choice & Best Games of 2014), the BAFTA-award winning Moshi Monsters and the animated feature Moshi Monsters: The Movie, which saw a UK-wide theatrical release.
Prior to Mind Candy, I worked for many years as a freelance audio designer, and even before that I co-founded a netlabel where I released my own and other people’s music.
I absolutely love working on games. Collaborating with a team to create interactive entertainment is tons of fun.
I’m an avid recordist with a great enthusiasm for wildlife, nature and ambient sound, so much so that in March 2015 I quit my job at Mind Candy and flew to Zimbabwe to embark on a 4 months recording & studying trip throughout southern Africa. I also became a qualified safari guide during my time there. I have since released a sound effects library with this material.
